New publication on the journal: Science of The Total Environment

CIMA researchers Cármen Sousa and Nélia Mestre in collaboration with Jin Sun (from Ocean University of China)  recently published a critical review study about the use of potential biomarkers to assess metal toxicity in deep-sea invertebrates under deep-sea mining scenario.

The full review paper has been published as open access in Science of The Total Environment (STOTEN), which is ranked as Q1 journal in Environmental Sciences, and is available at:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scitotenv.2024.175628
