He has a multi-disciplinary education, with degrees in Earth Sciences, Hydroinformatics and Water Engineering, Water and Coastal Management, Environmental Assessment and Management, and Sustainable Blue Growth. He holds a PhD in Geosciences, Environment and Sustainable Development from the Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco in collaboration with University of Algarve, Portugal. He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Marine and Environmental Research (CIMA), University of Algarve, Portugal. He is a Board of Scientific Association for Water Information and Sustainability (SAWIS); member of Lagoons4life Network and Young Ambassador representing Morocco at the BlueMed Initiative Sustainable Blue Growth; Water & Marine and Coastal Management; Environmental Management; Adaptive Management; Circular Economy; Remote Sensing
