Farhat-Un-Nisa Bajwa was one of the few MSc students to participate in the 22nd Pollutant Responses in Marine Organisms (PRIMO) International Symposium in Nantes, France. She orally presented her work in the session "Impacts of climate change on the ecodynamics of legacy and emerging pollutants in marine ecosystems" with co-chairs from NOAA (USA) and McMaster University (Canada). Her ongoing work, supervised by Dr. Tainá Fonseca, focuses on understanding how pharmaceutical pollution in combination with climate change may impact marine mussels.
