Revitalização das zonas rurais

The initiative aims to promote the revitalization of rural areas in the Algarve, through the implementation of methodologies that will focus on integrated approaches aimed at strengthening a territorial food system, based on a sustainable and inclusive growth model, in line with the "Prado ao Prato" strategy and, on the other hand, contribute to the diversification of this region's economic activity, which is currently centered on tourism.

Project Main Goals:

This project aims to intervene in the areas of food production, processing, distribution, supply, organization, marketing and consumption, developing models for organizing the economy of territories, recognizing their diversity, natural and social capital, and helping to improve the organization of the production chain.
