CIMA's deep-sea research team, Nélia Mestre, Cármen Sousa, Pasqualina Gaetano, Juliano Vilke, Leandro Marinho and Santiago Correia are in Hong Kong participating in the 17th Deep-Sea Biology Symposium.
The latest scientific discoveries in deep-sea biology science are presented by over 300 participants, with five talks presented by CIMA members, including three students and two ERCs. Discussions and networking are providing a stimulus for new research ideas and collaborations.
