Farhat-Un-Nisá is an enthusiastic marine biologist who is deeply interested in studying marine pollution, ecotoxicology, and Ocean literacy. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Marine and Coastal Systems, at CIMA. Her research is focused on evaluating the impacts of multiple stressors on marine biota, linking marine pollution by pharmaceuticals and climate change, and the subsequent impacts regarding drug-contaminated seafood consumption by humans.

For that, she performs in vivo bioassays with marine mussels, bioaccessibility assessment and analysis of biological responses through biochemical, genotoxic and cytotoxic biomarkers.
